The following unique features make all our Unique controllers better than any currently available worldwide.

  • Operational reliability is the # 1 priority in the basic design of our control algorithm, while maximizing the energy efficiency of the available equipment
  • All OEM controllers are designed to be “Pro-Active,” whereas typical controllers including process controllers are “Reactive.” Because of this unique feature, OEM controllers take action before an undesirable change occurs rather than react after the change has occurred.
  • Programming parameters such as the response times, sampling times, etc., are also designed to be dynamic, unlike all other controllers where such parameters are hard coated (fixed).
 
SYNOPSES OF THE TECHNOLOGIES
Air Compression Energy Management Control (ACEMC)

Compressed Air is used as a medium to transfer energy to accomplish manufacturing processes in almost all the Industry. The air compression process is very expensive in terms electric energy usage. For example, the annual electricity cost for a 100 HP compressor can run as high as $71,000 (24/7 usage @ 0.09/kWh).

Air compressors achieve maximum energy efficiency only at full load operation. The Unique patent-protected ACEMC dynamically adjusts the operation of each compressor in the compressed air system to achieve maximum capacity utilization for the whole system.
 

ACEMC is unique (compared to many off-the-shelf, do-it-yourself devices that attempt to improve the efficiency of the compressors), in the following ways:

  • The controller pro-actively maintains the system pressure while meeting the air demand, where as the all other controllers is reactive. Therefore system reliability is guaranteed at all times unlike the all other controllers
  • ACEMC is custom designed and energy saving is guaranteed without compromising system reliability
  • ACEMC continuously evaluates the system’s compressed air usage, predicts demand changes, and instantly activates the compressors in a unique combination that yields maximum efficiency while providing stable, optimized output pressure within tolerable limits.
 
   
 
 
Refrigeration Cooling Energy Management Control (RCEMC)
  • RCEMC constantly analyzes the refrigeration load demand changes and accordingly adjusts the operation of the compressors and condensers to achieve maximum energy efficiency of refrigeration
  • RCEMC also dynamically adjusts the suction and condensing pressures to achieve optimal levels in a stable range that matches the process temperature requirements.
  • RCEMC customizes each and every installation based on the annual seasonal weather changes
  • RCEMC enables the best of the both worlds to the operator:
 
    • Automatically take full advantage of the changing ambient condition to the maximum, or
    • Take maximum advantage of the what the nature gives within the system permissible limits
 
 
Process Cooling & Circulation Energy Management Control (PCCEMC)
  • PCCEMC controls the operation of the cooling tower fans with reference to the ambient conditions, thermal load, and the fan characteristics
  • PCCEMC controls the operation of the circulating pumps with reference to thermal load, changing dynamics of the circulation, and the characteristics of the pumps under control.
 

 

 
 
 
 
Universal VFD/VSD Energy Management Control (UVEMC)
  • UVEMC dynamically determines the varying critical speed of drive shaft and varies the frequency of the AC Motor
  • The equipment operation is the primary focus; Energy saving due to VFD/VSD applications is secondary
 
 
 
 
 
 
Municipal Sewage and Water Energy Management Control (MS&WEMC)
  • The required level of Reliability of operation is 200-300% in most cases for obvious reasons; therefore built in stand by equipment and readiness of operation should be guaranteed at all times.
  • The loads demand on the Municipal Sewage Treatment and Water Supply plants are dynamic and therefore the operational loads on the equipment vary hour by hour and day by day.
